New Yale Schola Cantorum recording on Delos

I am delighted to announce the release of a new Delos live recording of a Yale Schola Cantorum concert.

 

The program features sacred music spanning the English Renaissance by John Taverner, Thomas Tallis and Orlando Gibbons. The albums centerpiece is The Glory and the Dream: a substantial and moving choral cycle setting Wordsworth’s poetry by the late Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, with marvellous accompaniment on the organ of Christ Church New Haven by Thomas Murray.
