New Woodley Ensemble Recording

December 21, 2010 by Frank Albinder Leave a Comment

Woodley Ensemble, a professional chamber choir based in Washington, DC, is pleased to announce Arsis Audio’s release of their latest CD: O fragile human.  The recording features an international array of music, including works by Christopher Marshall (New Zealand: O Fragile Human), Arvo Pärt (Estonia: …which was the son of…), Paul Schoenfield (US/Israel: Four Motets) and Michael Waldenby (Sweden: Five Latin Motets).  The CD marks the first recordings of the Marshall and Waldenby pieces, which have received critical acclaim in public performances and at conventions of the ACDA, AGO and Chorus America.  For more information, visit Woodley’s website here.
