New SATB/pn setting of “Woman at the Wall”

May 29, 2011 by Jay Kawarsky Leave a Comment

This new SATB version of my SSA setting of Fran Gordon Immerman’s stunning text will be published next spring by Transcon.  You may, though perform it now.  It is from a larger work, “Sacred Rights, Sacred Song,”  which concerns itself with woman’s rights in modern Judaism.  “Woman at the Wall” is about a singular modern woman’s thought about a woman of ancient time having the same right as men to offer her sacrifice/blessing the same as men.  Suitable for HS, College, Community.

Will be happy to send you a persusal copy of either and/or both.
