NEW RELEASE for SATB Choir: Saturn, by Sleeping at Last

May 2, 2024 by gmbreeze Leave a Comment

This devastatingly beautiful text by songwriter Ryan O’Neal about life and loss shines in a new gorgeous choral arrangement by Garrett Breeze for SATB voices, piano, and flute.  The music is layered and always in motion, mimicking the relentless passage of time invoked in the text.  Originally commissioned by Waukee High School in Des Moines, IA.  The solo soprano part may be performed by a small group, and a violin may be substituted for flute if needed.
