Tuesday, March 10, 2015, marks the the 100th Anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff¹s All-Night Vigil, generally acknowledged to be the greatestpiece of Russian Orthodox sacred music written to date.
Celebrate this occasion by listening to an interview about the original premiere with conductor Charles Bruffy and Russian Orthodox music expert Vlad Morosan, then to the premiere broadcast of a brand new recording of the piece by the Kansas City and Phoenix Chorales under Charles Bruffy’s direction.
