Angelus, the acclaimed women’s sacred vocal ensemble from Mt. Vernon Senior High School (Mt. Vernon, IN) has just released its recording “Concert at St. Benedict Cathedral”. Featuring works by Hildegard von Bingen, Michael McGlynn, Ruth Cunningham and Donald Kendrick, the recording is a showcase of this unique ensemble recorded during a summer 2010 performance at St. Benedict Cathedral (Evansville, IN). Also included are Sacred Harp compositions and a contemplative work by Rabbi Shefa Gold.
