New Melodies & Arrangements for the Holidays and beyond

June 12, 2023 by Arnold Harris Leave a Comment

I have written a new melody for the well-known lyrics of “Chanukah, Chanukah”.
A beginning gentle and soft melody mirrors the Hebrew text of “what a beautiful holiday”.
The middle joyful section reflects the spontaneous joy of children at play during
the holiday and leads to the ending, where the chorus sings like a wildly spinning dreydl!
Here is a link to hear the music and to follow the score. Your chorus will enjoy singing this exciting arrangement and your audience will likewise enjoy the new view of traditional lyrics.
Here is a link to hear the music and peruse the score.
