New Melodies & Arrangements for the Holidays and beyond

April 10, 2023 by Arnold Harris Leave a Comment

Are you looking for something totally new for your Holiday concerts?

If so, I’d like to invite you to visit www.ArnoldHarrisMusic.com where you will find a wide variety of new arrangements for SATB chorus.
These are perfect for community, church, college and high school choruses.

And what, you might ask, makes them “totally new”?

For the Christmas season I have new and original melodies for the traditional lyrics of many English carols, as well as settings of traditional Christmas melodies in Spanish, Catalan and Barbershop style.
For Chanukah there are new melodies for well loved lyrics in both Hebrew & Yiddish.

As an example, my new melody and setting of “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” is written as a lilting waltz, accentuating the fun aspects of a child wondering about the mystery and “secret” of how Santa will come with his bag of gifts – being sure to warn him – “don’t you tell a single soul, what I’m going to say”.  Follow this link, https://arnoldharrismusic.com/satb-and-piano-choral-music-for-christmas/#jolly-old-st-nicholas
and you will be able to peruse a score while listening to an MP3 of the music.

For spring concerts, there are other arrangements and settings of Shakespeare and Blake, as well as fun songs from the American songbook and some original lyrics.
Thanks for any time you spend with the music!
