New Lincoln Piece

I have arranged “Memories of Lincoln,” William Neidlinger’s art song with words of Walt Whitman, for SATB chorus and piano.  This commission will premiere June 9, 2013 in Stuttgart.  If anyone is interested in programming the North American premiere or another performance after that date, let me know and I’ll send you a review copy.  It’s moderately easy, about 7’30”.  With the Lincoln movie out, there’s a lot of interest now, and 2015 will be the 150th anniversary of his death, for those of you looking ahead.  chris hoh
