New choral resource–English Motets for the Church Year

July 6, 2016 by Heath Morber Leave a Comment

For the church musicians out there, I’ve just released my second collection of motets for smaller ensembles.

I’ve taken excerpts for two and three voices from the Renaissance masters and adapted them for use with English texts drawn from the major seasons of the church year and the major feast days. Forty motets each in two different keys/voicing, and a bonus SAB motet for weddings. Palestrina, Victoria, di Lasso, Morales, Mouton, Josquin and more.

More info (a preview and a couple wonderful Matthew Curtis recordings) here: http://www.chantcafe.com/2016/06/english-motets-for-liturgical-year.html

…and a direct link to the resource here: http://www.lulu.com/shop/heath-morber/english-motets-for-the-church-year/paperback/product-22770715.html

If you have any questions, please shoot me an email:
