Call for Conductors- NCCO Masterclass with Joseph Flummerfelt in Charleston, S. C.
The National Collegiate Choral Organization is now accepting applications for graduate level choral conductors to participate in a Conducting Masterclass during the 5th National Conference in Charleston. The session will be held Friday, November 1st and chosen conductors will have the opportunity to work with Maestro Flummerfelt and the talented choirs of the College of Charleston in a 25-minute podium session.
Interested applicants should submit a resume, completed application form, a DVD of sample conducting (see DVD requirements) and an application fee of $25. Please make checks payable to the National Collegiate Choral Organization. All applications should be submitted by September 10th (postmarked) to:

Conductors will be notified by the end of September. Participants are responsible for their our travel and local arrangements.
DVD requirements- Please include three or four excerpts of rehearsal and performance conducting, demonstrating a variety of musical tempi and styles. Total length should be no longer than 20 minutes. Please clearly label the DVD and case with your name, and accompany with track listings and the circumstances of each excerpt (rehearsal/performance, date, repertoire, location, etc.). It is preferred that the conductor is filmed from the front to capture facial expression and hand gestures.
