NaperVoice, Naperville’s philanthropic choir with the mission “Sing well. Do good.” begins its third season on September 9. Nearly $10,000 for local service organizations was raised at four concerts in its first two seasons. 37 auditioned singers (the largest enrollment yet, 17 paid and 20 volunteer) from 20+ Chicago-area communities and Sweden, Ukraine, and the Philippines will perform in its next concert on November 17. Entitled “Gather In Gratitude 3: Everything Sings!” and benefitting The Conservation Foundation, the program will include choral music by Johannes Brahms, Aaron Copland, Ola Gjeilo, Elizabeth Alexander, Dan Forrest, Craig Hella Johnson, and Gwyneth Walker. The Spectrum Youth Choir of Plainfield will also be featured, and Daniel Cruz is the Conducting Intern for this concert. For more information, go to napervoice.org.
