Missa Brevis – SATB a cappella – by Ivo Antognini

May 15, 2022 by Ivo Antognini 2 Comments

Dear conductors and ChoralNet users,

my new MISSA BREVIS for SATB choir, a cappella is now available at Sheetmusicplus.

The piece was commissioned by Collegium Vocale of the St. Gallen Cathedral in Switzerland.

The world premiere took place on May 8. In this piece I tried to limit the use of divisi, in fact there are

really only a few points where I divide the voice sections. The total duration is about 15-16 minutes.

The level of difficulty is, I would say, intermediate.

Here the link to Sheetmusicplus

I’ve done a very simple video for every part of the Missa Brevis.

I. Kyrie

II. Gloria

III. Sanctus

IV. Benedictus

V. Agnus Dei

Enjoy!

IVO ANTOGNINI

    Bonjour,

Merci beaucoup pour votre excellente proposition. toutefois le lien vers le Benedictus est erroné et pointe vers le sanctus. Serait-il possible de corriger svp.

    Merci
