The non-profit Peter R. Marsh Foundation has increased its annual Middle School Music Grant volume to 400 for the 2023/24 academic year. Grants have a value of $1,000.00 and are available to public middle school music teachers, nationwide.
“Last year our quota of 350 Grants was rapidly depleted and the Board of Directors has recently elected to increase the quota to 400 to facilitate the amplified interest.” said Peter Marsh, Foundation Board Chairman. “This increase will provide an additional 3,000 students with improved music resources in their school and performance opportunities that elevate their compassion for others.”
Music teachers propose how the Grant funds will be used for musical education in their classroom to benefit current and future students and also commit to student performances at local senior facilities.
Public middle school teachers, nationwide, can view the Grant Guidelines, the Music Grant Request Form, and the Music Grant Reviews on the Foundation’s website: www.prmfoundation.org.
