MI Y’MALEIL (Hoffman, SATB) Arranged for Chamber Orchestra

August 22, 2014 by Stanley M. Hoffman Leave a Comment

I am pleased to announce the availability of my popular Chanukah piece, MI Y’MALEIL (SATB & piano) in a new arrangement I made for chamber orchestra just in time for holiday programming. This arrangement was made at the request of conductor Shulamit Hoffmann for performance by her ensemble Viva la Musica this coming December. The orchestration calls for flute, 2 oboes, B-flat clarinet, bassoon, horn in F, 2 B-flat trumpets, timpani, harp, and strings (4-4-3-2-1). Ordering information for the piano/choral score (ECS Publishing Catalog No. 6460), the full score (11×17 conductor’s score, ECS Publishing Catalog No. 8155), and the orchestral parts (ECS Publishing Catalog No. 8156) appears below.

Thank you for your consideration.
