Messiah 2.0

May 5, 2022 by MarkEdwards Leave a Comment

CHORAL DIRECTORS – perform Handel’s original, traditional Messiah but allow your fellow contemporary musicians (guitars, drums, keys) to join in the celebration.  This is the concept behind Mark Edwards’ new arrangement of the classic Holiday musical event.  It includes the major selections from Parts I, II and III.  While the original score remains virtually unchanged, the unified transformation is exceedingly powerful, distinctive, and reverent. It is fun to perform and a delight for audiences of all ages.

The arrangement requires only seven accomplished instrumentalists for the contemporary pit. Or, if you have the space and resources, add an actual full or Baroque-sized orchestra for a most awe-inspiring production.

Please visit website MESSIAH 2.0 for more information and request a Free Preview Score Sample.
