Mathtew Whittall’s choral works on disc

Music by Matthew Whittall – a Canadian-born composer settled in Finland – has been released on a disc entitled ‘Northlands’. The CD includes ‘ad puram annihilationem meam’ for choir and narrator, and ‘The return of the light’ for choir and orchestra – a radiant, mystical piece which has aroused great admiration in choral circles.
