Masterworks of Majesty

Mon, November 6, 2017, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM EST — The Zamir Chorale of Boston presents a lecture-concert “Masterworks of Majesty,” featuring the monuments of 19th-century Europe’s synagogue choral music. What makes music great? What makes music sacred? What makes music popular? We will investigate these issues through a performance of the greatest and most popular synagogue music of its time.
