Lost Lagoon – by Stewart Wilkinson

November 28, 2024 by Larry Nickel Leave a Comment

E. Pauline Johnson’s affinity with nature is apparent in many of her poems. Stewart has masterfully used text-painting to enhance her colorful poetry. This is absolutely gorgeous.

It is dusk on the Lost Lagoon,
And we two dreaming the dusk away,
Beneath the drift of a twilight grey—
Beneath the drowse of an ending day
And the curve of a golden moon..
