There aren’t many Mahler songs available for choirs to sing. Perhaps a college choir might like to tackle this one, a world premiere and a really good challenge awaits:
“Ging heut’ morgen über’s Feld” is one of the happiest tunes that Mahler ever wrote, and he used it again as the very first theme of his first symphony.
