Londonderry Air – O Danny Boy scored for organ accompaniment

December 4, 2014 by James Johnson Leave a Comment

On November 19th I posted this in its original version: tenor solo, SATB, and instruments: two flutes, strings (violin and viola soli within), bass clarinet.
A verision with the instruments reduced to a very manageable organ part is now finished, as I had promised.

Please have a look at some of my other choral pieces on my ChoralNet page. My setting of Gerard Manely Hopkins’ The Windhover – TTBB & organ, was
the featured work on Composer’s Spotlight for Sunday, November 9. See and hear it there.
