Do you have a beautiful voice? Do you want to be inspired and challenged? Are you passionate about singing? Then come and join the Hudson Valley Chorale as it starts its 14th season now under the artistic direction of Michael C. Haigler. What better way to relax than to sing, sing, sing! We are excited about starting this next season. We are looking to add talented voices to our chorus. Our current members come from a diversity of backgrounds and musical experience.
About rehearsals and performances:
Our group meets on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 PM at Dominican Convent, Sparkill, New York. We usually perform 3 concerts, a Holiday concert in December, a spring concert in February, and the end of season concert at the end of May.
About the chorus:
The chorale is a group of 19 singers who meet Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30PM from September through June in Sparkill,Rockland County,NY. Our repertoire spans all genre including classical choral pieces, opera choruses, a sprinkling of Gilbert and Sullivan, some Broadway and showcases some new composers, all demonstrating the depth of choral music.
If you are interested in singing in a group of talented passionate singers, then come and sing with us; get to know and share our joy as we demonstrate the power of live choral music. There is no audition required, just a hearty love of singing.
