Hudson Valley Chorale (Rockland) Appoints New Choral Director

The Hudson Valley Chorale (Rockland County, NY) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Music Director, Dr. Jason C. Tramm. Maestro Tramm comes to HVC eminently qualified to assume the duties of Director. He is currently the Artistic Director of the New Jersey State Opera, as well as Music Director in Residence of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association. Dr. Tramm is frequently engaged as a guest conductor, having led operatic and symphonic performances in Italy, Romania, Albania, and the throughout the US. This year he joins the music faculty at Seton Hall University, where he will lead the choirs and teach courses in conducting.  Dr. Tramm holds degrees in music from the Crane School, the Hartt School, and a DMA in Conducting from Rutgers University, where he was the recipient of their prestigious Presidential Fellowship.
