Hendrix College Candlelight Carol Competition

The Hendrix College Choir welcomes submissions for its inaugural Candlelight Carol Competition. Compositions must be submitted electronically by August 1 for consideration. The winning composition will be selected by Dr. Andrew Morgan and Dr. Karen Griebling (both of Hendrix College), Dr. Stephen Caldwell (University of Arkansas), and Dr. Matthew Mehaffey (University of Minnesota). Upon selection, the composer will receive a $1,000 prize, and up to $300 in travel reimbursement to attend a performance of their work, which the Hendrix Choir will premiere at our Cadlelight Carol Services at Hendrix College in December of 2015.
