On April 3, 2016, Paul Caldwell was involved in a hit-and-run accident while walking across the street to get home. A car ran a red light as Paul was walking in the crosswalk and ran over him. He has severe damage to his lower leg and elbow. He underwent two surgeries in the week following the accident and will need additional surgeries in the months to come to repair the damage. He is staying at Glencrest Rehab Center until June 1, when he will move in with a friend.
His insurance only covers a portion of his expenses. Friends have created a YouCaring page for donations to cover the exorbitant costs.
We are incredibly saddened and angered by this misfortune that has befallen Paul, while simultaneously thankful that he is alive and still managing to share his sense of humor with all who visit him. Prior to the accident Paul accepted a wonderful opportunity with the Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus as their new Artistic Director, with plans to move to Washington later in 2016. Such a random act could easily have happened to any one of us. So please, walk hand in hand with us as we support a man who has given so much to others and, even in his current condition, continues to do so.

Every dollar counts. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
