Handel’s MESSIAH for MEN’S Voices

May 22, 2023 by Charles Gravenhorst Leave a Comment

Handel’s Messiah Re-Voiced for Three-Part MEN’S VOICES (T.T.B) and Small Chamber Ensemble

Four of Handel’s inspiring choruses from “MESSIAH” are here re-voiced to be delightfully rendered with Men’s Voices alone and a small contingent of orchestral instruments (Violin, Trumpet & Trombone, or any other reasonable substitutes such as Clarinet, Cello or Bassoon) to give the flavor of the original in a remarkably rich and new setting of this classic oratorio. May also be acceptably performed with any of the many available keyboard accompaniments published with editions of “Messiah.” Sheet music provided includes FULL SCORE and PART SCORES for all instruments. Vocal parts, alone, are also available separately from the publisher, CG Publications, through SheetMusicPlus/SheetMusicDirect.

Choruses available—so far—include:

And The Glory Of The Lord (https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/22504118)
For Unto Us A Child Is Born (https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/22495306)
Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs (https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/22496334)
Hallelujah! (https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/22365572)

More to come!
