LONDON INTERNATIONAL CHORAL CONDUCTING COMPETITION 2024

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL GUEST CHOIR

Following the Covid-related interruptions of 2020 and 2022, the London International Choral Conducting Competition returns, building upon the huge success of the inaugural event in 2018.

LICCC 2024 will once more be held at London’s Royal Academy Of Music from Thursday 31^st October to Sunday 3^rd November 2024. An expanded field of emerging choral conductors will be assessed by a distinguished international jury both for valuable cash prizes and other career-enhancing opportunities.

LICCC is curated by Coro and Chantage, two of London’s best-established chamber choirs and we are seeking our International Guest Choir to join us both in singing for the competition candidates and headlining our shared Gala Concert in the RAM’s splendid Duke’s Hall.

In 2018 we were privileged to welcome Finnish composer/conductor Jaakko Mantyjarvi and his chamber choir FREIA.

MIGHT YOU BE OUR GUESTS IN 2024?

You would need to be in London, at your own expense, on the Saturday and Sunday of the competition. Logistical help of various sorts can be offered.
