Will Lopes has a special talent for creating music that is full of Brazilian style. Whether it’s an original piece or a folk song arrangement, he crafts these pieces with integrity.
Lopes talks about the big concepts that his music brings to a choir: “As a Brazilian, I felt compelled to display the freshness and diversity connected to our music. My pieces are designed to explore rhythm, percussiveness, harmonies and culture. As the ensemble experiences the richness of language and cultural background, this will not only broaden their knowledge and appreciation for multicultural music, but it will also bring their performance to another level. Most of my music explores body movement, syncopation, closed harmonies and contrast as well some type of percussiveness.” Stop over and take a look! http://www.graphitepublishing.com/composer/will-lopes/
