Graduate Assistantships in Choral Conducting-Butler University

December 5, 2013 by Eric Stark Leave a Comment

The School of Music at Butler University (Indianapolis, IN), is now accepting applications for admission to the MM degree in Choral Conducting for Fall 2014. Working with a world-class faculty including James Mulholland, Professor Emeritus Henry Leck and Eric Stark, conducting students receive top tier training and mentorship with podium opportunities with such groups as the Butler University Chorale and Choir, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.

Graduate Assistantships (GAs) are offered for choral conducting graduate students, and provide tuition remission and a modest monthly living stipend. Butler University, and the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir (ISC), are pleased to continue their support for the ISC Conducting Fellowship, a unique Graduate Assistantship offering conducting, leadership and administrative opportunities with the professionally managed 200-voice ISC.

Prospective students may contact Professor of Music Dr. Eric Stark with questions (estark (at) butler (dot) edu). More information about the music graduate program at Butler is available at http://www.butler.edu/music/graduate-studies/school-of-music-graduate-handbook/admissions/#requirements
