Fundraising Drive for All Rumi Choral Concert

ActorCor is currently having an online fundraising drive with Rockethub.com to raise $3500 to produce two concerts in Brooklyn and Manhattan.  The concert is dedicatied to Sufi master and poet, Jalal ad-Din Rumi.  Three composers are represented with amazing new choral settings of Rumi’s poetry:  Jennifer Griffith’s oratorio, THE REED, Robinson McClellan’s ode for Viola and Baritone Vocalist, OSTERLABE, and Jeff Olmsted’s retro-groovy settings of MUSIC MASTER and DON’T GO BACK TO SLEEP.  Renowned Persian vocalist & Rumi scholar, Amir Vahab will also be performing improvisations.  Visit the following link to learn more.  http://www.rockethub.com/projects/23149-many-voices-of-rumi-concert-fundraiser
