Now that things are beginning to return to some semblance of normal, I’d like you to consider my new SATB & piano setting of Rev. Ronald W. Cadmus’s extraordinarily beautiful Advent poem “The Gift of Advent Waiting” which focuses on the sense of anticipation in the arrival of the Christ child. Please contact me for a perusal score, live demo and ordering information. Is also available in other voicings upon request.
The Light draws near
The world is waiting
In darkness, fear and hope
For One who brings streams of mercy and redeeming grace.
A star moves slowly in celestial space
through its radiant beams
God’s love on earth bestowing.
We see God in a baby’s face
In a halo’s glow
In a sacred night.
We hear God’s voice in a baby’s cry
Peace and joy from heaven draws nigh.
The Gift of Advent Waiting
The Light draws near in Advent waiting
The King of Glory gentle lamb.
For Christ our Lord the wondrous gift of our salvation
A Savior’s birth, so long expected
In humble manger lies.
God is with us
The joy of all creation
While we wait…
Waiting for
A Light of Joy
A Light of Peace
A Light of Truth
A Light of Faith
A Light of Faith
A Light of Hope
A Light of Love
A Light of All
A Light of Life
The Light of Christ eternal.
Mary’s little Child
The Gift of Advent Waiting.
