Dear Directors as we enter February and Black History Month, I have just discovered a newer recording of my arrangement of Follow The Drinking Gourd. This one follows the edited score at Colla Voce Music.
This version is sung by The Texas Voices, Alan Dyer, Director. It may be too late for this Black History Month, but this would be a wonderful concert piece for any occasion. There is a section toward the end for members of the choir to improvise on a blues chord. Thanks for looking and listening.
