Finally, after two years, a new video from Leg Lap Productions!!!!!!

April 2, 2023 by mikeodie Leave a Comment

Hi Everyone!

It’s been nearly two years, but Leg Lamp Productions is proud to announce, in conjunction with The City of Angels Master Chorale, a new video based on Moses Hogan’s arrangement of the Negro spiritual Music Down in My Soul. The audio recording for this video is based on the legendary 2012 recording by The City of Angels Master Choral at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Richard Medrano’s outstanding conducting, and the incredibly high caliber of the singers on this piece, is clearly evident. Some reasonably argue that the level of choral sound and conducting has not been matched since. The visuals for this video also seem to have an uncanny knack for expressing what the music is trying to convey to the listener. Many of the visuals in this video are taken from the chorale’s own archives to give the music a more intimate feel.

As mentioned before, it took two years to get this film out due to Covid, a knee replacement surgery, buying a house, and spending nearly an entire year fixing up said house that was 50 years old that had received very little maintenance on it. Now Leg Lamp Productions can release a wonderful new video that will get yor Easter Season off in the right direction:
