Greetings Chorus & Vocal friends,
The Naughty Boy– a 6-minute SATB a cappella choral work I wrote on commission from West Chester University Concert Choir (David DeVenney, conductor) – now available for purchase and performance.
This whimsical work uses a children’s poem by Keats to create lyrical, sing-song textures. The work is appropriate for professional, college, community, and high school choirs. You can hear a live recording of the piece (beautifully sung by the West Chester Concert Choir) while you look over the first couple of pages on my web site:

NEW OPERA PREMIERE: WHAT YOUR PARENTS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW . . . (ABOUT FAIRY TALES)
My new opera will be premiered June 23-26, 2011 at Houston’s Lone Star Lyric Theater Festival. This year’s festival is titled Simply Grimm and will feature four new commissioned operas. My opera is a retelling of the Cinderella story, cleverly written by playwright Aaron Loeb (he of Abraham Lincoln’s Big Gay Dance Party fame).
Thank you for considering my music and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Wishes,
Kurt Erickson
