From 2005-2011, Crane held the same position at California State University, San Bernardino, where he earned the College of Arts and Letters Outstanding Teaching Faculty award for 2007-2008. Choirs under his direction have performed by invitation at conferences of the American Choral Directors Association, California Music Educators Association, and the Southern California Vocal Association. Crane maintains an active schedule as a guest conductor, clinician, adjudicator, professional chorister and tenor soloist. He holds BM and MM degrees from Brigham Young University, and the Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University.
Dr. Andrew Crane named Director of Choral Activities at East Carolina University
The East Carolina University School of Music in Greenville, North Carolina, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Andrew Crane as Director of Choral Activities. Crane will conduct the nationally recognized ECU Chamber Singers and lead the graduate program in choral conducting.
