Ms. Desiree Hines passed away on January 24, 2013 after battling neuroendocrine cancer. In the past year, she had been living in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was the Isabel Curdy Endowed Organ Scholar at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral Episcopal and a student of Elisa Bickers at the Conservatory of Music, University of Missouri-Kansas City.
