Dale Grotenhuis Music Collection

Choral music friends: I’m pleased to announce the launch of the Grotenhuis Music Collection at Dordt College.  Besides a large number of published works, Dale left behind a significant number of unpublished compositions and arrangements, as well; through the generosity of his family and the support of Dordt College, over 500 of these works are now available to the public for their continued use and at no charge.  Many of these works were commissions for church choirs and so will be of special interest to those who work with smaller choral ensembles.  Also of note are the many compositions and arrangements for male chorus (he conducted the 2nd Army Band Male Chorus while in the armed services).  We are delighted to be able to make Dale’s available so that it can continue to be of service to many – please explore this valuable resource!
