Are you ready for a conference unlike any other? If so, then you are ready for BENT, BUT NOT BROKEN! The first conference of its kind, Bent, But not Broken encompasses the works of Black and Brown composers and dives deeper into their works to truly understand the message behind the music.
From April 27th-30th, we have an AMAZING lineup of Reading Sessions, Guest Conductors, Interest Sessions, and workshops by some of the nation’s TOP SCHOLARS in music and history. Our Legendary Lineup includes Conductors Maria Ellis and Alysia Lee who will conduct the Honor Choir, Everett McCorvey leading The American Spiritual Ensemble, Dr. Eugene Rogers and EXIGENCE, and Jason Max Ferdinand guest conducting The Intergenerational Choir of The Choir School of Delaware.
Informative and Knowledgeable Keynotes led by Dr. Felicia Barber, Dr. Marques L.A. Garrett and explosive Interest Sessions conducted by AndrĂ© de Quadros, Eileen Guenther, Vinroy Brown, Jr. and The choir School of Delaware’s very own Arreon Harley-Emerson!
