Twilight of the Goddess is as bright and intense of Athena herself. Bold, courageous, strong, and intensely intellectual, Shank’s new work is a sweeping journey through the mysteries of the Goddess. At times, Athena is portrayed as sitting among the clouds, observing the chaos of creation. With a flash, she plunges into the action, propelled musically onward by a dazzling piano accompaniment.
