Composer Gwyneth Walker visits the Bay Area

Renowned Choral Composer, Gwyneth Walker will be visiting the bay area from April 21st – 23rd to be a part of Singers Marin’s 25th Anniversary Concert, “How Can We Keep from Singing?” at Davies Symphony Hall on April 23rd. Singers Marin will debut a World premiere of “The Gospel Ship” for women and children’s chorus along with a West Coast premiere of “The Youthful Traveler.” The first half of the concert will include 9 other Gwyneth Walker compositions performed by Singers Marin youth and adult choruses as well as guest ensembles, Branson Chamber Singers, Golden Gate Men’s Chrous, Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble and Mill Valley Philharmonic. The concert will also feature a performance of Stravinsky’s “Symphony of Psalms.”
