Cohen to talk about UI-Oakdale program

A presentation by Mary Cohen, assistant professor of teaching
and learning in the College of Education, on the UI-Oakdale Prison
Partnership Program, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Iowa City
Public Library in meeting room A. The event, “May You Walk in
Beauty: Connecting Communities through Choral Singing at the Iowa
Medical and Classification Center,” is part of the University of
Iowa Graduate Institute for Public Engagement.


Cohen is the founder and director of the Oakdale Community
Choir. After her talk, she will join a panel discussion.
