On September 3, under Music Director Marty Sedek, rehearsals reconvened for a 52nd season of studying and performing fine choral music. The repertoire for the January concert is Mozart’s Mass in C, “Coronation” and Faure’s Requiem. Both works will be performed with soloists and orchestra.
New singers are welcome to come at 7:30 P.M. to “look us over” as we begin preparation for our January 26, 2014 concert. Information on the choir can be found at www.casofnj.org. Regular rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 8-10 in the choir room (below the sanctuary) of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield at the corner of E. Broad Street and Mountain Avenue. Come experience the joy of making great classical choral music!
Funding for the Choral Art Society of New Jersey has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural.
