Choral Works of Stephen Caracciolo at Washington National Cathedral

Washington National Cathedral
New American Music Choral Series
Stephen Caracciolo
GOTHIC G-49287

Cathedra, under the direction of Michael McCarthy, has a new release on the GOTHIC label of choral works by composer Stephen Caracciolo. A fine project beautifully produced by Malcolm Bruno, the sessions were recorded by the professional choir at Washington National Cathedral. Several of the tracks are premiere commercial recordings. McCarthy has sculpted elegant, lyric lines, bringing the sound and meaning of each text to the forefront of the expression.
