Choir will kick off ‘Choir Therapy Month’

March 7, 2011 by Richard Allen Roe Leave a Comment

The Therapy Choirs of Michigan, a Michigan non-profit organization, is promoting March as “Choir Therapy Month,” starting with a noon, March 1 performance at the State Capitol.

The Farmington Hills-based choir, directed by Len McCulloch, of Farmington Hills will lead the 13th annual kick-off rally in the Rotunda at the State Capitol in Lansing. The public is invited to this free performance from noon – 1 p.m.

“We are inviting Singers from the Original Therapy Choir, and the Macomb Oakland Regional Center Singers and Volunteer Voices including The Finnish Singing Group of Farmington Hills, to join us in bringing community awareness to the State Capitol,” said McCulloch.
