Now meet another group of feisty women who are also using singing to boost their confidence – as they face the reality of cancer.
EVOCALISE comprises a group of patients from Liverpool Women’s Hospital who have been helped and encouraged by their Macmillan nurses to form the choir. The group meets every week at Blackburne House in Hope Street with favourite songs including Something Inside So Strong and Bridge Over Troubled Water. And just like the Military Wives, who were given the goal of singing at the Royal Albert Hall, EVOCALISE have also been set a challenge – to sing at St George’s Hall in September.
