Choir Director Named Claes Nobel Educator Of Distinction

July 5, 2011 by Richard Allen Roe Leave a Comment

ROSENBERG, TX — The National Society of High School Scholars
has named Terry High School choir director Rhonda Klutts as a Claes
Nobel Educator of Distinction.

Student members of NSHSS have the opportunity to nominate the
educator who made the most significant contribution to their
academic career.

The Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction award recognizes teacher
role models who have made a lasting difference in their classroom
by encouraging students to strive for excellence.

Klutts, the choral director at Terry High for 15 years,
earned her B.S. degree in music from Lamar University in
1988.
