Chanticleer releases first self-made music video, “Cells Planets”

November 23, 2010 by Matthew D. Oltman Leave a Comment

What happens when the members of Chanticleer have two rare afternoons off while on the road?  Why, they whip out their iphones and web cams and make a music video!  This happened earlier this fall when Music Director, Matthew Oltman and Tenor, Brian Hinman wanted to devise a new way to expose listeners to one of the most popular songs on their current touring program, “Cells Planets”.  Written by Erika Lloyd of Little Grey Girlfriend and arranged by Vince Peterson, the song is Chanticleer’s first foray into the world of indi-pop.  The video can be enjoyed on YouTube and the song as well as a digital video package can be downloaded from Chanticleer’s website:  www.chanticleer.org

A printed version of the song is in the works!
