Dudamel leads Beethoven’s iconic Symphony No. 9, featuring the beloved “Ode to Joy,” a powerful testament to freedom, peace, and unity.
The program also features the world premiere of Hymns of the Heart, a new orchestral work by acclaimed composer Michael Giacchino, known for his scores for The Incredibles, Coco, Up, and Ratatouille. The piece brings together students from under-resourced schools and a children’s choir performing lyrics by acclaimed poet Amanda Gorman.
