Lenox, MA. The Cantilena Chamber Choir announces choir auditions for its 2024-25 season for all voice parts by appointment beginning Wednesday, August 14 at Trinity Church, 88 Walker Street in Lenox, MA.

Candidates should have excellent vocal quality, the ability to sight-read music, and previous choral experience. 

Auditions are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance by emailing . In addition to the audition, candidates are required to attend open rehearsals on Wednesday, September 4 at Trinity Church from 7-9:00pm. Rehearsals throughout the year are generally held on Wednesdays, from September to May.

Cantilena achieves the highest level of choral artistry, whether performing a cappella or with orchestra; singing sacred or secular music, folk songs, or oratorios. It presents a five-concert series at Trinity Church beginning Sunday October 20^{th 2024} with a program of Coronation music for choir, organ and brass from the time of Handel to King Charles. The choir is in its 21^st season under the direction of Dr. Andrea Goodman that includes  professorships at the Cincinnati Conservatory, New York University and Skidmore College, and has performed with choirs and music festivals worldwide including St. Petersburg, Paris, Rome, and Vienna.
