Lenox, MA. The Cantilena Chamber Choir, a 25-voice semi-professional chorale under the direction of Andrea Goodman and based in western Massachusetts announces limited openings by competitive auditions for all voice parts for its 2025-26 season by appointment beginning Wednesday, August 20 at Trinity Church, 88 Walker Street in Lenox, MA. Rehearsals Wednesday evenings at the church. Cantilena specializes in short form a cappella classics, new works and spirituals, along with choral-orchestral masterworks in a five-concert season beginning October 19.
Candidates should have excellent vocal quality, the ability to sight-read music, and previous choral experience. Auditions are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance by emailing . In addition to the audition, candidates are required to attend an open rehearsal on Wednesday, September 3 at Trinity Church from 7-9:00pm. Rehearsals throughout the year are generally held on Wednesdays, from September to May.
